The main project executes verification of consular documents for the government of New Zealand. Requests are routed directly to designated authorities whilst the IOM Operations Unit facilitates the submission of comprehensive reports to ensure transparency and accuracy. Pre-consular support services include:
- Verification of references and public legal documentation,
- Conducting interviews on behalf, or together with, government officials
- Logistical assistance
- Health assessments
- Biometrical verification procedures using DNA samples and fingerprints
- Travel assistance
- Pre-departure orientation and language training.
